The project ensures access to safe WASH services, food security and support to local authorities’ Disaster Risk Reduction capacity building and efforts to build early warning systems enabling them to reduce the severity of shocks to local populations and infrastructure. By integrating inclusive and sustainable approaches, the project addresses urgent humanitarian needs while building long-term resilience and promoting dignity and self-reliance among affected communities."
