The VenEsperanza: Emergency and Recovery Assistance for People in Need Consortium, led by Mercy Corps in partnership with International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Save the Children (Save) reach 37,746 unique beneficiaries over 26 months1 of direct implementation in major transit and settlement cities and areas along the Venezuelan border in Colombia. Through the continued provision of integrated food assistance through the cash modality and nutrition services, and the addition of complementary economic recovery activities, VenEsperanza will build on its foundation of strong implementation to support vulnerable Venezuelan migrants (with an emphasis on recent arrivals to Colombia), Colombian returnees, and host community members to build household resilience and improve household food security outcomes in the face of emergency.
