As a trusted intermediary, NPA bridges the gap for local organisations that face challenges accessing institutional funding, helping them manage resources responsibly, strengthen monitoring and learning systems, and respond to acute needs in their communities. This approach expands the reach of humanitarian assistance and enables partners to grow their operational capacity over time. The programme also contributes to global learning. In partnership with PRIO, NPA documents insights on shifting power, strengthening local agency, and the peacebuilding contributions of local actors in conflict-affected contexts.
