- WFP Humanitarian Support to Ukraine "WFP is assist. crisis-affected populations in Ukraine, who are vulnerable to food insecurity because of conflict. 1. Crisis-affected pop, incl. IDPs, able to meet food and nutrition needs during and in aftermath of a crisis a. Crisis-affected women, men, girls, and boys access food and/or cash-based assistance to meet basic food and nutrition needs. b. Nutritionally vuln. groups, incl. children aged 6 to 23 months, receive specialized nutritious foods or transfers to prevent malnutrition and improve nutritional status. 2. Govt of Ukraine and partners enhanced food systems and shock responsive capacities to support vulnerable populations by 2024. a. Schoolchildren receive meals to meet food and nutrition needs. b. Targeted women, men, boys and girls provided with social benefit cash top-ups complementing existing state transfers to ensure essential needs are met. c. Govt and partners benefit from enhanced shock responsive safety nets, social protection systems and capacities. d. Govt and other actors in the food system benefit from capacity strengthening, infrastructure dev, improved linkages with export channels, local procurement and stronger food system integration. 3. Humanitarian and development partners in Ukraine access to reliable common services and expertise to reach vuln people and respond to needs. a. Partners benefit from information mngmnt, coordination, and common logistics services through the Logistics, Food Security and Livelihoods and the Emergency Telecomm Clusters to deliver assistance. b. Crisis-affected pop targeted by partners benefit from common information management and other services and expertise to receive lifesaving assistance. c. Partners benefit from cash transfer services as required. WFP ensure social and environmental safeguards are in place to ensure programmes do no harm. Protection, conflict-sensitive, gender-based and disability analyses, incl sex-, disability- and age-disaggr data help sustainable and empowering support"
